Terms and Conditions for Vancouver Car Rentals

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of car rental services provided by Vancouver Car Rentals(“Company”), located at #11- 2250 Tyner St. Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 2Z1, Vancouver, BC, Canada. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your reservation.

1. Rental Requirements:

• Driver’s License: Renters must possess a valid driver’s license issued by their country of residence.
• Minimum Age: The minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 years. Additional fees may apply to drivers under 25.
• Payment: Payment is due at the time of vehicle pickup. We accept major credit cards and may require a security deposit.

2. Vehicle Use:

• Authorized Drivers: Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.
• Prohibited Uses: Vehicles may not be used:
  • For illegal purposes.
  • To tow or push anything.
  • Off-road or on non-public roads.
  • By an unauthorized driver.

3. Rental Period:

• Start and End: The rental period begins at the agreed-upon pickup time and ends upon the return of the vehicle at the specified location.
• Extensions: Rental extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.

4. Insurance and Damage:

• Insurance Coverage: All vehicles are covered by basic liability insurance. Additional coverage options are available upon request.
• Damage: Renters are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, including theft and vandalism, up to the full value of the vehicle.

5. Refunds and Cancellations:

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made [number] hours/days in advance are eligible for a full/partial refund. Late cancellations may incur fees.
• No-Shows: No-shows may result in a cancellation fee.

6. Additional Charges:

• Fuel: Vehicles must be returned with the same level of fuel as at pickup. A refueling charge will apply if returned with less fuel.

• Inspection: Renters should inspect the vehicle for any existing damage before departure. Report any issues to our staff immediately.

• Personal Information: We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Your information will only be used for rental purposes.
